Saturday morning dawned chilly and overcast, a perfect day for a good, muddy trail race on the Mt. Kessler Regional Park trails. Racers took off together at 9 sharp, before splitting off midway through the course. We had had heavy rains earlier in the week, so both courses were a bit slippery and very muddy, but isn't that what trail runs and races are all about?
The overall winner of the 15K was Olivia Kelly with a time of 1:08:37, and the overall winner of the 5K was Joe Collura with a time of 25:47. Congratulations to them both for running such good races!
